Quick Question

I have a quick question for my fabulous readers. If you had a give away and contacted the winner and hadn't heard back from them in two weeks, would you post the give away again for some one else to win? I tried contacting the winner, and the folks donating the give away have too...and no response.   What would you do?  Thanks for all your help and support!! xx

UPDATE!!!!
The Winner has been found and she is very excited to receive her prize!!!  Thanks to all of you for your great suggestions and comments.  I really was at a loss, never had this happen before.

Did you have any time limit for response in the giveaway? Personally I would post that the first person did not respond and send them a email saying that and keep a copy. Then pull another name but thankfully I have not had that problem...yet...I would sure go by what the sponsor says though.

I would just redraw from the previous entries.

I think most blogs do that -- at least that's what i've read on other giveaways before!

Totally up to you doll! <3

Yea...I would re-draw as well

Wow two weeks! Most people give one week and then re-draw.

You have given ample time. I would re-draw and let the person know.

I'd email them one more time for good measure and then re-draw. Two weeks is a long time not to hear back.

I'm sorry to disagree, but it should be a minimum of 2 months (unless items are perishable) Not all people are on the hyped schedules of this millennium. Someone could have gone on vacation for that short of a time.

I would just pick from the pool of your original giveaway members. Two weeks is more than enough time to respond to an email. I would send them another one anyway, and just let them know that the "time limit" for your giveaway response time reached its limit! No need to host the giveaway again, I think.

Good luck!

At first I thought 2 wks is enough time but then thought well maybe she's in hospital or something terrible has happened . Yes, I agree give her a bit more time, maybe a month.. atleast. BTW thanks for entering my giveaway and my blog button code should be fixed now! take care and good luck.. Maryann
