These wreaths were a happy accident. I had wanted to make Christmas ornaments using paper cones. Well, I rolled the cones way to big, and I wasn't gonna just waste them. I had to find a use for them, and lucky for me I rolled about 200 of the suckers lovely cones...
Here's a close up. I made three, all the paper in the centers are a little different, but all red, black and cream. It was my color scheme for this years decorations.
This is the only place I could think to hang them, they turned out to be about 17 inches across. This is why they couldn't be used as ornaments. I attached ribbon with some hot glue, and TA DA they became wreaths! The ribbon was $2.40 at Joann's, and every thing else I had. So not a bad price for three wreaths!
Let me tell you, I may have to make different wreaths to hang here year around. I love using the curtain rod for more than curtains. Again another happy accident.
Thanks for stopping by.
