GIVE AWAY
I went to the flea market the other day with a good friend we found NOTHING! Yep, a whole lot of zilch. I was pretty bummed until we went to HomeGoods, and you know, my friend had never been? Crazy right?

I got a couple tins, they have a fun vintage feel. My son really like this one, he's learning about Abe at school and he's his favorite President. Funny part is that the 6 year old noticed this way up there!
He didn't mention the one on the counter, funny how boys can see what's right in front of them!
Then I found Big Ben to go with my Eiffel Tower, and this cute message board with chandeliers. Now I need to make some cute tacks for it.
Check out this baby! I've been wanting a wooden bowl for ever. Me and my bestie answered a craigslist add, and this baby was on the lady's basement floor waiting for me!!!
Chicken towels from Joann's, 1/2 off.
This next item needs background music, or mood lighting. I swear when I saw it sitting on the shelf at Pier 1 my heart stopped. I didn't need to replace the lamp on the trunk, I was actually shopping for a lamp to go on the yellow buffet. It could not be helped, I'm in love with this lamp.
Close up, yep goldish mercury glass! I swear angels are singing some where.
I've been wanting a bottle holder forever, well for a long time, and I finally found one. Love this, can't wait to find some cute coffee mugs to hang on it!
Sneak peak of a project I'm working on. I like to tease you! lol
Have a great one, thanks for stopping by and checking out my treasures! xx

Ummmmm, what flea market? Where?
And you didn't CALL me!??
I really need to visit the antique mall in Littleton, on Broadway. We should meet, shop, lunch?
You are one great shopper. I can go in a shop with my friend Donnie2 and walk right past something great. If I whine enough she usually lets me buy it. Loved your tins and mercury glass lamp the most.
um yeah....i love your lamp too :)
i have a wooden bowl just like yours...found in a different basement...and i totally want a bottle holder myself...great additions to your home!

Okay, I'm a little jealous over here. Where did you find that metal cup holder? I want it :) I have a wooden dough bowl just like the one you found. It was my Great Grandma's. So happy you found one! Looks like you had a lot of fun shopping.
Oh, and Happy Lo got her purse back. LOL
XO

Hi Tammy,
I just stopped in to join in your Anything Goes party. Thanks for the invite. I love the lamp!
Love, love, LOVE your vintage items. :) You've found some great stuff!
You're more than welcome to show them off at my link party!
Cheers,

Great finds...I'm especially loving the great wood bowl! Thanks for stopping by and for your nice comment about my kitchen project!
Thanks for stopping by - I'm a bit too busy to party at present, getting geared up to head home across the pond soon - but I loved seeing your finds.
Love the bowl - I have a French dough bowl, long and narrow and quite huge - right now it sits on my dining room table holding gigantic factory cones of natural linen yarn.....I love stuff like that! Bottle dryer is great too - you see them all over the south of France. Luckily I get to visit because my family live there in a small village surrounded by vineyards and a gazillion bottles, lol!!
Happy weekend Tammy.
Great finds. I especially love that bottle holder - I doubt I have room for one, but think they look great.
ooooh, love your finds! love what your boy found too, the cute red minuteman tin is so cute! the wooden bowl looks BIG! i would love to get one like that too when i could find one, adorable chicken towels and the lamp with goldish mercury glass is so vintage! my fave! unique bottle holder that you got there. I'm curious on what you're working on right now!! reveal it soon! :)
Oh my gosh, what fabulous finds! LOVE that wood bowl and your mercury glass lamp is divine! Thanks for sharing, Deb
Wow, You found some great things! The dough bowl and lamp are fantastic and I am in love with the bottle rack. Was it from Pier One too?
xo,
Sherry
Yes, you need to dish on the bottle rack- where's it from? I've seen the French ones, both medium and large, but they retail at such a high price! I'm used to paying wholesale cost. I looked for some when we were at the furniture market a few weeks ago, but I couldn't find a vendor who carried them. I guess I'll have to call some of our reps to see if they know who might carry them in their lines. Lucky you to find that wooden bowl. That faux mercury lamp is wonderful, as well! Visiting from Rhoda's party.
