I totally scored this little waterfall kids desk for $40! I was so happy. It even has bakelite handles. Okay, so it's not a great before pic, since you can only see the side. I had actually taken this pic to show off my full of projects garage! I guess full of crap too. =)
It's the little desk in front of the big buffet, the buffet sold.
Ta Da, painted Ivory and put in place in Lauren's room. I know, this pic was taken at Christmas. Doh!
I still have a few changes to make to this room. I'm going to paint a few frames, and her bed is still in the garage waiting for attention. It can wait, it's cold! See how tiny the room is? I'm gonna make sure in the next house the kids rooms are twice the size.
I made that lamp too! If I can find all the pics I'll do a tutorial, easy. I had bought her a chair for the desk and then she saw this little storage stool and loved it, so I bought it. I don't have to refinish it, so that's a win. Of course I have a kid sized chair in the garage I have to finish and sell. sigh.
I'd like to thank everyone that voted for the new background! The winner is Sally. It'll take a few days before it is up, but stop back and check it out, please. lol
Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to check out my Overstock.com discount!!!!

Hi Tammy!
The little Waterfall desk turned out so cute! The stool is perfect for a little girl! My kids rooms are the same size but they never play in their rooms, anyway. They are always where I am, haha!
Look forward to seeing the new blog template!
Have a wonderful day! :) ~Michelle

it looks so sweet now! my daughter also has an old desk/vanity that doubles as a nightstand! iw ill be sharing it next month, but i love the double function! anyhow, yours is adorable, and i am glad you kept the original hardware- it complements the piece and shows up nicely against the paint.

The desk is just darling! It looks adorable in her room! Lucky girl! I did a double take when I saw your thumbnail at Cassie's party. Seriously, your garage looks exactly like mine did when I had several waterfall desks waiting to be fixed up! :)
Cute desk makeover, Tammy. And I wouldn't worry so much about small rooms for the kiddos. Remember, double space means double upkeep. ;)
Thanks for linking to the party.
Blessings,
