My Newest Love, Brown Transferware

I just wanted to show off my new plates.  I'm in love with them.  Funny, this time last year I would have walked by these babies and never paid them any notice.  My style tastes have changed so much in the last 12 months, now when I'm out I look for Brown Transferware and a few other things I would never have looked for first!  I'm still on the hunt for the perfect dough trencher and kitchen canisters...I have a couple leads.  I'll share with you down the road.  =)

The best part?  They appear to be English in style, since they depict 'The Hunt'.  I'm really loving English, French and early American right now.   Don't mind the price tags!  lol  I haven't gotten around to hanging them up yet, so I haven't bothered with the stickers.  Believe it or not, they were only $9 a plate.

'Breaking Cover'

'Tally Ho'

'Full Cry'

'The Death'

I plan on hanging these on the wall in the dining room, but I still need to find a few platters to hang with them, so I'm on the 'Hunt', get it?  lol  I know, I'm a dork.

I also want to thank Laura over at Monogram Boutique for giving me a Stylish Blogger award.  It's the best feeling knowing that other bloggers like you.  I really appreciate it, Thank You!

Hey gf!

You're not a dork... you're super cute! Thanks for the giggle. These plates are to die for. I love brown transferware. I can never find it. Lucky girl! Good luck in your search! I'll be back to see what you do in the dining room. THe horse you bought would look good with these plates, also. xx ~Michelle

You're not a dork, just good at puns! Either that or I'm a dork right along with you!

Love your plates...hunt scenes in transferware are usually hard to come by, and pricey too. Very pretty! Come check out my's all about English transferware. ( I sell it too!)

Can't wait to see them hanging! ;-)
