My LIttle Mutton Buster!

I can't stop smiling.  This image I have in my head of my son Mutton Busting at the rodeo makes me laugh and smile, like a crazy person smile!

He's so SHY and doesn't like any attention.  When my girlfriend told me he did the Mutton Busting, I almost didn't believe her, until he came home with his ribbon.  He was so proud, and me too, I even think his little sister was impressed for a second!

I was really surprised when he asked to go with them again, I thought this was one time deal.  He even begged me to outfit him like a cowboy!  Off to Murdoch's we went, and a Cowboy was born!

Connor and his best buddy Austin.  Isn't his hat cute, he picked it out himself.

I am Terri from Charmed. I am a graphic artist who is currently a stay at home mom. I have a wonderful husband of 24 years and a beautiful 9 year old daughter. We live in a quiet village in Upstate NY.

I enjoy doing all types of crafts. I am always trying out something new. I am hoping to start a business from what I love to do. I currently have my items at local businesses and attend craft shows. I have sold a few things through my blog.

I create polymer clay charms and jewelry.
I also make button jewelry which is A LOT of fun!
I also started hand painting glasses. Painting is really my first passion.
I have also hand painted wood signs, walls, wooden chairs.
I can create and customize any of my pieces to specific colors, graphics or materials, personalized with names, dates, logos. Please check out my blog for more of my items and contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you again Tammy for this wonderful opportunity to show off my stuff! Thanks for reading everyone and for stopping by my blog!

Living Room Ideas, New House Series

The living area is at the front of the house and right next to the dining room, so I wanted to make sure that the color palette was complimenary.   (but not matchy matchy!)

I didn't take the best pictures of this room, the light wasn't working with me.  This picture is taken from the family room/hall way area.

This picture was taken standing in the dining room.

Here is the floor plan AGAIN!

Wall color, Hazel, isn't it lovely?  I think it will look great next to the green in the dining room.

Love seat from Ikea, $379.  I'm going to place this facing the window, with it's back to the dining room.  I'll probablaly reuse some of the pillows from my living area now to put on the love seat.

Chair from Ikea $249 each.  These will be placed in front of the window facing the love seat.  I'm going to reuse my trunk and lamp from down stairs to sit between the two chairs.

Slipcover color, adds a little warmth, and isn't as bright as the white.  We all know how scared of white I am, this is a good baby step for me, and it can be washed.  Who knows by the time we move in, I may be over my fear, but just in case this is the color for now!

Exibit A, the trunk.  I think the burlap runners will stay and a few of the accessories, but a few things will either be sold or put some where else in the house.  The barn pictures are going to be hung on the one wall in the living area.  The frames are going to match perfectly with the frames I'm using in the dining room.  The pillows will be reused in the living room too.

Close up of the lamp, I LOVE this lamp!  I'm pretty sure the bird house, clock and wicker tray aren't making the cut in this room, but we shall see.

Curtains rods, same as the dining room.

Curtains, also same as the dining room.

Same shade of white for them too.  I thought it would make it look like one big room having the matching window hardware and coverings, instead of two smaller rooms.

Roman Shades

So there you have it, the living room.  What do you think?

New Color Palette

Are you sick of my 'new' house ideas yet?  Well here's more!  I fear until we actually move in, I'm going to be in 'new' house overdrive!

I do have a little news about the 'new' house.  Really, big news actually.  We are putting it on hold.  Yep, on hold.  I wanted to go under contract with the builder in Nov/Dec this year, but it's going to be more like Apr/May next year.  It just makes a lot of sense for us, gives a full year to save.  Plus we are hoping that new home prices go down a tad too.

I'm still going to be doing posts regularly about the new place, cause I'm obsessed with it, and it's so much fun!  (I'm a little crazy too, let's not forget.)

I want to share with you the NEW color palette I'm going for on the main floor.  I mentioned before, I'm tired of a few of the colors in my place.  Mainly the mustard yellow, so over the yellow, and the shade of green I've been using.  I don't think I could ever tire of green, but the shade I've been using isn't making me all that happy.

New colors, in no particular order.  Keep in mind to that I may use these colors in a lighter or darker shade, this is really just an idea of what I'm liking now.

So, not a lot of yellow and red.  I'll never say never, but if I use them it'll be very sparingly.
These colors are subject to change as well...I mean you never know.  I'm really loving the blue and green, so we'll see!

Not sure what was going on in this one.

Asking me if she has boogers.  REALLY.

Loving her big bubba.

Nice tounge.
