Anything Goes Party #19

Thanks to all of you who linked up last week! 

I don't have any features this week, busy packing for vacation!  I can't wait to see what everyone links this week.  I promise to be back in action after vacation.  We leave Wednesday morning at 2:30 AM for the airport!  Crazy, I know!  Hopefully the kids don't melt down.  I'll have a laptop with me, so there will be a party next week!

I promise a ton of pics when we get back!  Have a great week!

Anything Goes Party #18

Thanks to all of you who linked up last week!  There was so much amazing stuff.  I wish I could feature all of you!  I'm still crazy busy getting ready for hubby to get home, he's home today!  Yep, about 4 hours after this posts he'll be home.  Then I'll even be busier!  lol  I promise as soon as his vacation is over I'll have more time to comment on each link, but just put up with me for a couple more weeks.  You guys know home much I LOVE you and how AMAZING you all are?

Meet Lilyfield Life, Week 4

Hi, I'm Fiona from Lilyfield Life and I'm honoured to be asked by Tammy to guest post while she's on holidays (the lucky girl!).  I live in Sydney, Australia and am married to a great guy, Phil, who really is the most patient and supportive man in the universe. We've got two lovely kids and we really enjoy this wonderful life we've created together.

Music Tray

So last week at Lo’s birthday party a friend of mine from high school came to the party.  She really fell in love with my music/silhouette tray I had made many moons ago.   I decided, I should make her one.  

This is the tray I bought from Joann’s, isn’t she lovely?  Well, at least she was black, saved me the step of having to paint her.

Monday Guest Posts Update

Just a little update about Monday's Guest Posts.  I'm booked until September 5th, after that all Mondays are open.  If you would like to guest post for me, please contact me and I will add you to my calendar. 

Those of you that have signed up, I'm so excited to see what ya'll do.  This has been so much fun.  Monday the 23rd is week four!  I've already received post from some of you, which is great, please send them as early as you'd like.  It gives me more time to prep them, and one less thing for you to worry about.

I do have one problem and I'm hoping on of you can help me.  I've been trying to contact Sarah at Faded Country, and the blog can't be found.  She was going to do a guest post for me on Monday June 6th.  If you know how to get a hold of her, please let me know.  If I can't get a hold of her by Tuesday May 24th I will have to replace her post, I'll be hanging with the hubby and on vacation, so I need to be prepped asap.

Before the Paparazzi ~ Week 3 ~ Primitive & Proper

This week I would like to introduce you to Cassie from Primitive and Proper. 

Vacation/Hubby Countdown....

Wow, time seems to be flying by, now that Beefcake is on his way home.  Where did the last 10 months go?  He should be home next Tuesday, if all works out.  Fingers crossed.  He has to start his journey a week early, to make sure he gets here on time.  You never know over there, when a flight will be canceled. 

Then it's vacation the following week.  We fly out 6/1 and return 6/8.  Two kids on a plane with a lay over in Dallas, this should be FUN!  LOL  Beefcake will be with me to help out, but I see some stress in our future. 

Silhouette Magnets

My bestie Sommer at Designer Garden has her own Etsy page, and recenlty she started making these great magnets.  I really love all things silhouette, even the machine!  She stamped these cute travertine 2x2 tiles for me.  I added my own magnets, also bought of Etsy.

Tiles and magnets, aren't they adorable!?  LOVE them.

The Way to my Boy's Heart

The secret to my Boy?  Legos and lots of them!  Star Wars Legos are his favorite.  Here is the latest engineering marvel I had to put together.  Surprising even to me, it only took one hour to assemble, I think it was a personal best!

I swear you need to be an engineer to assemble the darn things!

Fun with Clay Tutorial

My tutorial is about clay.  You can do so much with clay and it comes in a zillion colors.  It's very easy to work with and affordable.  I used Fimo clay to do these products but you could use any brand you like.  I actually used an air drying variety and a bake clay this time.   Prepare for the longest tutorial in history! 

First up my baked clay buttons.  I used Fimo Effect Silver, kind of looks like pewter.  A little goes a long way too.  I made a ton of projects with this block.

Anything Goes Party #16

Party time!!!  I can't wait to see what all of you have been up too.  I've been crazy busy, but haven't done a whole lot!  lol  Hubby will be home two weeks from today!  I promise to keep the party going each week, but I doubt I'll have much time to do much more. 

I have a to do list I need done before he gets home, so we don't have to do anything after he gets here but enjoy each other!  Thanks for putting up with me!  lol  I promise to post like crazy after his vacation is over.

Coffee Mugs!!

Let me tell you this, Susan at Homeroad made these coffee mugs look so easy!  Only they aren't that easy!  lol  They were worth it, but I'm glad they are done.  The kids had to watch T.V. upstairs while I was making these.  My language was less than desirable for small children.  Enough said.

Doors Painted!!!

I really wanted to paint all the doors in my home black, and then I decided it was a bad idea.  In my kitchen I have an area with four doors right next to each other.  I was picturing them painted black, and in my head I saw a cave.  Cave = No Good!
