New Kitchen Signs!

Here's my kitchen, not sure if you can make out the signs under the cabinets all that well, but I wanted to show you a before.  These signs have been taken down and I've painted/stenciled new ones.  I'm not a sign painter, but I'm pretty happy with the end result, and these are much more country feeling.  I'm really not sure what direction I was taking the kitchen in, but it appears to be country.

First sign.  I painted them yellow and stenciled them in a dark palm green, then glazed them in tobacco.

I couldn't for the life of me come up with another phrase that didn't have 'fresh' in it, so Sweet Tea won.  I was drinking my crystal light sweet tea at the time....hmmm

Larger view, the rest of the kitchen was a little cluttered with projects, so this is the best I could do.

So?  Do you like them, what do you think?  Let me know, I love your feed back!

xx

Cute, I can't say that word without using a southern accent. Thanks for sharing at Beyond The Picket Fence.

Love the "Sweet Tea" sign, how I do wish it radiated the same warmth here in Northern New England as it does there in the South. Your kitchen looks warm and inviting!
