You would think I knew what I was doing, all these sewing projects. Really I just go in straight lines and hope for the best! I don't measure too much or cut to much...I just kinda wing it.

Like my new table runner. I could have cut it down so it wasn't so wide, but you really can't tell, so I just tucked it behind the buffet. Problem solved.
All finished, and I lucked out with the fabric, it pretty much matches the framed art above in tone perfectly.
Close up of the pattern, ignore the weird pattern on the wood, this was a Craigslist find and the runner helps cover most of the damage. I may paint it some day...just not Sunday.
Everything put back in place. New lamp, HomeGoods. I love it too, so much big and much brighter than the previous lamp. New wall sconce, HomeGoods. I really scored the other day. I still need to buy a candle for the sconce, but I couldn't resit it.
Perfectly shabby. That spot that looks like dirt on the wall, is really me just filling nail holes, I still have to touch up paint, but I wanted to show you my finds first!
Hope you like what you saw! Thanks or stopping by! xx

I plan on teaching myself to sew and straight lines will be where I start ahah. This looks great!
That looks very nice and does match the pictures really well.

That all looks fabulous! Love the wall sconce, and the fabric. Nice eye.
You are a sewing diva! I love how the color plays up the artwork! Cute cute sconce, too! Gotta love Home Goods! It should be called "you aren't leaving this store empty handed"! Ha ha!

you have a great eye for good taste. keri
I sew with a glue gun, so I would have tucked it behind the buffet too!

Right now I just a piece of fabric on top of the girls dresser... it is on my to-do list... honest, LOL. I think it looks quite nice.

I love fabric you chose. I have the same sewing technique as you, except your projects turn out better than mine!
